💥Common mistakes when losing weight💥

1️⃣Doing way too many hours of cardio! We don’t need to be spending so much time on it. Yes cardio does aid in weight loss, and yes you will lose the weight, but you will have no muscle to help you❗️
2️⃣Eating too little! This will slow down your metabolism and inhibit you from losing weight further down the road. A deficit shouldn’t be extreme unless a Dr is monitoring you. Your body will adapt to the low calories, and you will have to keep lowering them to lose more weight! Which will not be fun or sustainable!
3️⃣Not lifting weights❗️ We need muscle to be strong, healthy, and able to move for longer periods of time. Muscle is the key to long term weight loss. Why? Because Muscle helps raise our Basle Metabolic Rate! This is how many calories we burn in a day. Lifting will help raise that number, the more calories you burn with the help of muscle the more times you can eat cookies!🍪

I would tell myself it’s okay to lose the weight slowly. Losing weight should be a quick fix, it should be a lifelong change.
I would tell myself eat the cookies, cakes, and ice cream that I missed out on. For the first year I restricted myself and missed out on so many things.
The last thing I would tell myself that no matter what movement I got in that day I still moved my body. Money should just be lifting weights, it can be a walk, hike, bike, or even a run. Anything that you do to move your body is great!
