You’d be shocked how many pitchers are worried about the wrong things. 🤯
Complaining about umpires.
Frustrated with errors.
Making excuses about the mounds.
Meanwhile…
They’re not controlling THEIR effort.
THEIR body language.
THEIR ex*****on.
CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLES 💯
At higher levels, no one cares about your excuses.
The pitchers that stand out?
They’re locked in on what they CAN control.
That’s the difference.
And yes… we train that here. 💜

💜💚 Happy National Women’s Day to the heart of our Stingrays family. 💚💜
Today we celebrate the incredible women who stand behind every girl on our field. The moms, coaches, and team moms who give so much of themselves so our daughters can chase their dreams.
You are the ones packing the bags, braiding the hair, cleaning the uniforms, and making sure your girls never miss a practice or a game. You sit in the heat, the cold, and sometimes the rain — cheering louder than anyone else in the stands.
You celebrate every hit, every catch, every win… and you’re there with open arms after the tough losses too.
But what you give them is so much more than softball.
You teach them strength, resilience, confidence, and what it means to support one another as teammates and sisters.
Because of you, these girls are growing into strong, fearless young women who believe in themselves.
The memories we’re making on these fields will last a lifetime, but the love and sacrifices you pour into your daughters will shape them forever.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being the foundation of this organization and the heartbeat of our Stingrays family.
Today we celebrate you. 💜

I’m going to say something not everyone loves to hear.
Pushing your kids past their comfort zone is part of the job. Comfort doesn’t build competitors. It doesn’t build resilience. It doesn’t prepare them for a 3–2 count with the game on the line. Growth lives just outside what feels safe.
Sometimes they’re tired. Sometimes they don’t feel like it. Sometimes they’d rather be anywhere but in that uncomfortable moment. And as a parent, you can see what’s on the other side of that resistance. You know if they lean in just a little more, something shifts. Confidence builds. Calluses form. Belief grows. That push matters.
But here’s the part people skip over — you also have to know when to reel it in. There’s a difference between stretching them and snapping them. A difference between holding a high standard and making them feel like they’ll never be enough.
If the fire in their eyes starts to dim, if the joy disappears, if the pressure gets heavier than the passion — that’s when you pause. That’s when you check yourself. The goal isn’t to raise robots who perform. It’s to raise strong, confident humans who choose to compete.
Pushing is powerful. Listening is powerful too. The best parents know when to press and when to protect. And if you get it right, they won’t resent the push — they’ll realize you weren’t pushing them to win. You were pushing them to become.
