Good evening,

Sorry for the late acknowledgment, but I am just getting settled in. I want to say that I truly cannot express enough how proud and appreciative I am of Dontae DC Carter. Even though the weather cut us short today, the turnout of kids, the energy, and all of the extra things he and his family provided for a FREE camp.. shirts, bags, food, and more was incredible. That is what truly giving back to the community that raised you looks like, and Dontae will continue to be blessed for it.

I also want to thank the former Steele Knight young men who came out to assist with the camp. They are all Knight legends and the true blueprint of what our kids should strive to become both on the field and in the classroom. Every one of those young men exemplifies what it takes to be a Knight.

Lastly, thank you to our entire Jr Knights family our players, parents, and especially our coaches. HUGE thank you to the Jr Knights coaches who showed up and handled business today. Some of our coaches got off overnight shifts and came straight to the camp. That is exactly what we mean when we talk about dedication and loyalty. Being dedicated and loyal to our kids and our mission. Way to represent, fellas.

Like I said before, this is only the beginning of something special. Day by day, brick by brick, practice by practice, camp by camp… you will continue to see in our players, coaches, and parents exactly what it takes to be a Knight.

Jr Knights Family,

We want all of our Jr Knight athletes attending this camp. Dontae Carter is a great young man and athlete, and I had the pleasure of watching him work and grow from a young age. He is the epitome of what we want our athletes to represent through hard work, discipline, leadership, and character.

This is a great opportunity for our kids to learn, compete, and be around someone who has done things the right way both on and off the field. Please come out and support Dontae, our Steele Knight community, and the city of Cibolo.

There are not enough words to truly thank you for everything you do. You are the foundation behind these young athletes.

A mother’s love is one of the most powerful things in the world, and we are blessed to have mothers in our organization who pour so much into their children every single day. Your sacrifices shape not only better athletes, but better young men and women.

Please know that you are appreciated far more than you probably realize. Today is about celebrating you and all of the beautiful things you do for your families.

There is so much that you do for this organization that people will never truly see. The time, effort, sacrifices, support, and love you pour into the organization never go unnoticed. While helping keep this organization moving day in and day out, you still continue to be an incredible mother first.
