Benjamin had the honor of playing GM Maurice Ashley yesterday at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in a small 5 board Simul. Benjamin was the last to lose to the Grandmaster.

Congratulations to our own, IM Miguel Medina Paz, for a tie for 1st place in the San Antonio Turkey Shoot Chess Tournament! Also one of his students, Benjamin Romo, attained a personal high rating of 1927.

Winter Camp! Enrolling students now. Each day will consist of 3 hours Chess instruction from IM Miguel Medina Paz.
