Boggess-Harlandale School District Golf Tournament

The Harlandale Indians and McCollum Cowboys have always enjoyed a friendly rivalry. We thought it would be fun to bring that competitive fellowship to Chuck Boggess-HISD Golf Tournament in our work to raise scholarships for Harlandale ISD graduating seniors.

The Alumni Challenge is simple. We are asking one alumnus from each class to step forward and donate $100 on behalf of their class. The side with the most classes taking the challenge wins!

The contest closes at noon on Friday, May 24.

The donor and class will get a special Tee Box Sign and special recognition at the golf tournament. If you own a business and want the name of the business on the sign, we'll do that for you too. See the Tee Box Signs from last year's tournament to get an idea of what we will produce for you this year. All dollars donated will go to the scholarship fund.

We have just launched the Chuck Boggess-Harlandale ISD Golf Tournament page. The 53rd playing of the tournament will be happening on Saturday, June 1. As far as we've been able to find out, this tournament is the longest running community golf tournament of its kind in San Antonio. If you have played in the Friends of the Indians or Friends of the Cowboys golf tournaments, we would encourage you to sign up for this one. All proceeds go to provide scholarships for graduating HISD seniors. This year, we were able to give out six, $1,100 scholarships to Harlandale, McCollum and STEM High School students.
