B5 Exotics

After much thought back and forth over the last several months I have decided to get out of owning race cars and racing. I may still drive every once in a while if the opportunity presents itself and or help out a friend.

The ones who know this already have all asked why?

It wasn’t just one thing that’s bringing me to this decision. The biggest reason though is I want to spend more time with my kids. I’m a very competitive person and am not really happy to not run up front. This sport has evolved a lot since I’ve gotten into it. You can’t dabble in it and be successful for the most part. At least I can’t. I feel fortunate to be able to make this decision in confidence knowing it will be better for my family and I.

I want to thank all my friends, family, fans, and sponsors who have helped and supported me over the past 8 years. I was fortunate enough to win a few races and championships. Ultimately this sport taught me a-lot along the way and I met some amazing friends along the way. For all of that, I will forever be greatful.

Maybe I’ll see ya out on the lake! 🌊

We will be racing this Saturday night in Pleasanton, TX.

It's time for schweaty balls night! June 17th we will have a double feature late models race! Feature #1 will be for the $1,000; line-ups are set based on Jun 3rd heat races, new cars will tag the rear. Feature #2 will be for $750 to win; $100 to start. Line-ups will be determined by hot lap qualifying; fast time to pole and so on. $100 fast time bonus, plus $100 sweep bonus for the one that wins both features!

A few photos from this weekend racing with the Comp Cams Series.

I had a lot of fun this weekend and am continuing to learn from racing with the guys at this level. I’m truly thankful to God for the opportunity to get to race with and learn from these guys.

We made our first feature with them this weekend. It was our second weekend to race with them and we timed in 6th quick both nights.

Friday night we started 15th and were up to 11th in a few laps. Caution came out and we ended up involved in an incident due to a spun car in front of us. Restarted 21st and drove back up to 15th.

Saturday night we started 21st and we were up to 10th at one point but ended up 14th.

We don’t race again with Comp until September. But I’m excited to race with them more and continue to learn from the drivers in the series.
