This page was created to provide updates and information on an Eagle Scout Project honoring Norman Wallace Anderson III and Joshua David Snyder.

My name is Andrew Kilgore, I am going into 11th grade at Hereford High School and I'm a Life Scout in BSA Troop 92 in Northern Baltimore County. For my Eagle Scout Project, I completed the memorialization of Joshua David Snyder and Norman Wallace Anderson III by installing a memorial Blue stone wall and garden around the trees that were planted in their honor. These two young men both went to Here

Want to give a shout out to Warwick Contracting from Hunt Valley, MD
The steps leading from the tennis courts to the stadium have been in bad shape since Andrew did his project 10 years ago.
Over the summer, Warwick under the leadership of Josh (sorry did not get his last name) replaced the steps. This company went above the call of duty to protect the Memorials. They erected silt fencing around the top of the Memorials and used plastic and sandbags to keep all construction debris away from them. They even covered the entire site in plastic the day the concrete was poured.
I had the opportunity to stop in while they were there and talked to Josh. He was very respectful of the entire area. And for this we are very thankful!
The new steps look great. Thank you to Warwick Contracting!

I am looking for a Patriotic painter or artist that would be willing to re-paint the letter on the Memorial plaques for Andrew's Eagle Scout Project at Hereford High School.
We recently had a local landscaper refresh the area around the sitting walls and now want to redo the plaques.
I will supply all needed materials and supplies (currently researching the correct paint to use)
Pictures of the 2 plaques when placed 9 years ago and now are below for reference
please feel free to reach out here or by PM
Thanx in advance

All freshened up thanx to a true patriot, Tom Sullivan owner of South 40 landscaping!
I reached out to him for advice on how to go about freshening up the memorials and he committed to taking care of it on his own. He is also planing to add some miniature knock-out roses in the next couple weeks. Tom also took the time to clean-up the veteran's memorial that is located by the main entrance to the school in the bus loop. Before pictures are at the end (shows it really needed some help).

It’s been 8 years since the dedication and emplacement of these two memorials in honor of Josh and Norm. Another year, another month, another day, another hour that we remember your sacrifice you made for this country.

Til Valhalla Brothers and Happy Thanksgiving.

Today, my father and I spent time at the memorials, cleaning, w**d wacking, and racking all the needles/leaves away. While assessing the memorials we have noticed that Josh and Norm are both growing like crazy! The gravel lok holding the pea gravel together has started to break apart and wash away. Is there anyone out there that is willing to work with my father and I to refresh the memorials?

What I’m looking to do:

I’d love to add metal edging around the gardens to allow the pea gravel to be contained better, in addition to this, a fresh coat of pea gravel, and something like Gravel Lok (a liquid material that binds the rocks together allowing water to pass through and the trees to grow, but making it a solid surface).

Any and all help is welcome, I would love to have this completed before the 10th anniversary of the emplacement, and 20th anniversary of there deaths.

Please feel free to reach out through the page, or if you know my dad and I personally, feel free to call/text us.
