I’ve realized becoming a personal trainer is not only about providing exercises and correcting form. I’m helping create lifestyle changes. I’m becoming a friend, a mentor and a life coach. I help my clients make changes in their everyday life to create healthy habits. Habits that include sleep, water, food, best time to exercise and stress management. To be honest, exercise is only one part of it. It really comes down to the small choices made every day, it doesn’t have to be drastic.

Anyway, I hope everyone is making choices to be happy and to live a long healthy life.💕

Here are some quick tips to help aid weight loss:
- drink plenty of water
- control your stress(good way to do this is to go on daily walks and/or meditate)
- get plenty of sleep

Here’s a throwback….Although I don’t have recent content of my workouts and exercises. I do workout 4-5x’s a week. I do have a balanced diet but I am 15lbs heavier now, then in this video. Does that mean I am not fit? Does that mean I am not healthy? Does that mean I am not happy with my physique? The answer is no. The truth is our physique changes, our diet changes, our needs change, and life changes. So let’s talk about what I am …
I am strong. 💪🏻 my strength has gone up and that comes with time and consistency. I am pushing, pulling, and lifting more weight than I could then.

I am healthy.🥬🥦I fuel my body with balanced foods to help build the muscle and strength I need and I’m always continuously working to improve my health. The more knowledge I gain, the more I improve.

I am conditioned.😰 My heart rate, when conditioning, goes very high but I also can recover quickly. My heart is efficient when exercising and even while I’m at rest.

I am happy, confident, and comfortable.😁 I am comfortable with my weight. Although some things don’t fit like they used to, that’s ok! Weight is not all that matters.

When it comes down to it, I still have goals and still work hard to get there. There’s never a stopping point.

Did you know carbs will actually fuel your work outs?!There’s always this idea that low carbs help fat loss, but that’s NOT true! The truth is we need carbs to help our energy. Carbs are body’s primary preferred energy source. Having a high carb diet will also allow your body to use protein for muscle growth. 🥦🥬🥒🍠🥔🥖
