Ever since I was a child, I always struggled in school. However, when it came to creating, I thrived. The arts created a space where I felt like I was able to dream big, and not only be different, but be extraordinary. From creating hand-beaded and sewn barbie costumes, to pursuing a degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising; as well as a Masters in Advertising to understand the business/marketing element, I have always loved being able to invent. For 36 years, I’ve attempted to create businesses that would allow me to merge my passion for fashion while benefiting humankind and the planet. I believe my gift is to empower others to see their fullest potential as well as make this world a better place. This realization came through the lessons I have learned in my yoga practice as well as those from the ocean; a space that has always made me feel hOMe. Back in 2018 while walking along my home beaches of San Diego, I found myself picking up more trash than I could collect in my own two hands. This moment catapulted my mind into motion, brainstorming ways in which I could not only help counteract this issue at hand, but also deliver mindfulness in the form of a product. As a lover of the ocean and devotee to the practice of yoga, the idea of activewear that turns debris into attire was born. As a prior Mindful Business & Experiential specialist, a Certified Yoga Teacher, Breathwork Facilitator and Energy Healer, it is my mission and I believe purpose to bring my lessons from the mat into the marketplace by creating awareness on the importance of both individual health and oceanic wellness. Thus, H2OM was born.

Lethargic, moody, heavy; the strong need to rest and nest. In the darkness, it’s easy to want to push past or force down the discomfort that seems to be arising when the light begins to disappear. We are reminded: Winter is coming; Our shadows have arrived. Can you sit in the stillness, embrace the darkness and find comfort in knowing this is all part of a season - a reason - to welcome in transformation, invite in gratitude for what we have lest focus on lack of & allow in the love ourselves and others need as the night sky comes in earlier and our days becomingly seemingly shorter.

It certainly has not been easy having not one, but now two pandemic babies, but this girl has handled it like a champ and I’m so glad we were able to sprinkle her with all the love she deserves before she brings another sweet Angel into this world. Not to mention, doing it “au naturel” with the utmost ease, grace and absolute trust that her body was made for this moment.

I can confidently say, without hesitation, that San Diego would be nothing in what it is today without you two. I’ve challenged my company to plant 1,000 trees TODAY, but truly feel the impact could be more if the word is spread to all on how easy it can be to take action !
