What a weekend at for the Top 9 and Bryson Women’s Regatta ⛵️🌊🌊
Huge thank you to the Stanford coaches and sailors for putting on such an incredible event and making everything run so smoothly on and off the water. We got all 14 races in with a huge range of conditions from 2 to 20 knots. Light and tactical to full hiking and planing, it was a true test across the board.

Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite Summary
Saturday, January 17. What a great day of sailing! A wonderful Aloha celebration of sailing was had as 160 sailors introduced themselves in a lei opening celebration of sailing for the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii. 20-plus knots and 80-degree water temperatures greeted the sailors in Keehi lagoon on Oahu's south shore. All were provided a wonderful luau BBQ cooked by UH sailing alums. The weather looks promising for the same conditions tomorrow.
Sunday, January 18. Lighter breeze greeted the sailors, and they had a nice southerly wind in the morning. Fun was had by all, and big thanks to all of the UH alums who showed up to make the Peter Wenner Rainbow Invite a great regatta.

Last weekend, PCCSC teams headed to Mission Bay Yacht Club for the West Coast Championships, hosted by . Saturday brought chilly and shifty southwest breeze with strong current, rewarding the teams that stayed patient and connected the dots. Four races were completed in each division before the breeze faded and the day wrapped up with a beachside BBQ.
By Sunday, the marine layer cleared early to deliver classic San Diego conditions, sunny skies and a steady 10 knots, setting up a perfect finish to the weekend.
For the final results, took 1st overall, followed by in 2nd and in 3rd.

Last weekend, PCCSC teams came together at Redwood Creek for the Top 9 Invite and Women’s Fall Champs hosted by . The venue served up a whole mix of conditions from light and patchy to gusts up to 25kts. By Sunday afternoon, the breeze built to a solid 15 knots, making for tight racing and good competition.
For Women’s Fall Champs, took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
In the Coed fleet, finished 1st, followed by in 2nd and in 3rd.

This past weekend, the Mark Healy Open Fleet Championship marked the final major regatta of the PCCSC season. Saturday brought classic Keller Cove breeze and tight 20-minute races, while Sunday tested light-air tactics before wrapping up just before the cutoff.
With super tight standings, claimed first, with in second and in third.
With their top finishes, Stanford and UCSB have earned the PCCSC’s two berths to ICSA Open Fleet Race Nationals at St. Mary’s College in Maryland! Congratulations!

Two weekends ago, teams came together at Stanford for the Carter Ford Open Team Race Champs. After a light and shifty morning, a solid northwesterly breeze filled in, delivering seven straight hours of majorly competitive team racing.
Congrats to for going undefeated with a score of 19-0 and taking the win and the single berth to the ICSA Open Team Race Nationals, followed by in 2nd and in 3rd!
Just today, Stanford fought hard into the Final 8 round of the ICSA Team Race Nationals at Brown University. Good luck and go PCCSC!

This past weekend, women’s teams traveled to Hawai’i for Women’s Fleet Race Districts hosted by ! Two beautiful days of racing in island breeze made for a fun and memorable event.

Over the past two weekends, PCCSC teams competed at the Mustang Open and Cactus Cup, bringing exciting racing to the final stretch of February and into the start of March.
At the Mustang Open (slides 1-3), hosted by , sailors navigated shifty breeze to complete a full weekend of racing. secured first place, with in second and in third. In the JV Fleet, dominated, sweeping the podium.
The following weekend at the Cactus Cup (slides 4-6) hosted by , conditions ranged from heavy breeze on Saturday to steadier racing on Sunday. claimed both first and second place, with rounding out the podium in third.

This past weekend, teams gathered for the Bryson Women’s and Top-9 regattas, facing a mix of light and challenging conditions on Redwood Creek.
After a slow start on Saturday with postponements and only two races in marginal breeze, Sunday brought more sailable conditions ranging from 4-7 knots, allowing for a full day of racing.
Congratulations to for taking first place in both the Women’s and Open fleets, followed by in second place in both fleets. And congratulations to for securing third place in the Women’s fleet, and to for securing third place in the Open fleet.
