Best in the West is now best in the US. They proved not once, but twice, in these past 11 days that they’re the best team in the nation. The Stanford Cardinal competed in all 3 nationals events, and came out on top in 2 of them (and 2nd in the third). They have made history as the first all-female team to win the Open Championship. This is the first time in 19 years that a PCCSC team won the Open Championship, and the first time in 22 years that we’ve won Women’s.
Stanford also had 3 skippers and 4 crews named All-American, which is a testament to their outstanding performance throughout the year.
