Another benefit to enrolling your child at Tutu School is to introduce them to interaction with other children outside of a traditional academic environment! Our dancers learn things like taking turns, sharing props, making friends, and positive communication!

Dancers don’t need wings to fly, but we sure love pretending! ✨

Tutu School is for *all* students, and that includes students who are formally diagnosed or presenting with signs or symptoms of autism, ADHD, anxiety, and learning disabilities. Our policy at Tutu School prioritizes inclusion, which means that instead of having dedicated classes for these students, we accommodate them in our existing classes so as not to promote separation. At our most recent Tutu Teacher Rally, we learned about and shared so many tips and resources about how to continue to best accommodate these amazing students in our classes.

Classes in our Exploring Ballet division strike a perfect balance between structure and creativity. In this division, we begin carefully laying the earliest foundation of ballet technique, but we always compliment our class work with fun, imaginative activities that keep young dancers captivated, engaged, and utterly in love with ballet.

Caregiver participation is a very valuable part of our Tutu Toddler classes! Although it seems like all of our little dancers can twirl and spin on their own, it is so important for the atmosphere of the class to have parents and caregivers who are ready and able to help their child should they need support or encouragement 🤗

The magic at Tutu School is so enchanting we can almost taste it! 😜

Did you know that Tutu School also hosts Ballet Birthday Parties?! They are the perfect way to help your little swan or Sugar Plum Fairy celebrate their special day! Each party includes a brief ballet class, a special birthday story featuring the guest of honor, a delicious cupcake picnic, and delightful party favors. Take the stress out of party planning and leave all of the work to us. Simply show up and enjoy the magic!

We love using props like ribbons and scarves in Tutu School classes! They teach our dancers about colors, sharing, and movement 🎀
