The beautiful thing about living in wine country… it’s always within proximity. For the no crowd, chill, I need to breathe and regroup, days of life. The perfect solo reset. It’s been a year. Time to visit; quietly. I don’t need the noise.

I had the pleasure to speak to clinical practicum students at Pepperdine University. I enjoyed every moment.
They are in their final stages of completing course work, while in the field actively seeing patients. I was able to enlighten them with real world and life experiences of behavioral and mental health career highs and lows, expectations and how the work place and personal life can change rapidly. Setting work place boundaries for their own mental and emotional wellness. Along with being authentic with themselves and in their work, applying their licenses and credentials to non- traditional therapeutic practices and how I branched off into entrepreneurship and still able to have my credential align with my Integrative Health & Performance coaching. Focusing on high performing professionals and athletes.
All they needed was the vision. To know what’s in a textbook doesn’t apply in real life. Your patients are not a case study. They are real people needing real connection. You’re human; be one. Your energy is absorbed by those you seek to help. Just as you absorb theirs. It’s important to seek therapy to release the stress from career and others transference. Burnout is not healthy. You lead how you live.
I left the message: If you’ve never failed… you never tried. Fail forward. Don’t be afraid to fail. Don’t be afraid to fly. Your work should align with your life purpose and goals. Who…you…are!
I shared my story. They gave me their time. It’s about being intentional with your time and rooms you’re in. If it weren’t for this, I would not have had this opportunity.

When you see me like this, I’m locked in. 10X or nothing. Shutting out the noise. Living by my non-negotiables. I like this statement. Heard it in a master class on small business scaling. “If you cannot tell the truth about where you are, you cannot build a real path to where you want to go.” Make moves based on 10Xs decisions. High performance is a math problem, not a character test. 🚩
Most of my clients think "recovery" is just sleep. It’s actually a multi-variable equation: Nutrient density + Nervous system regulation + Strategic stops.
Yesterday, 150+ people saw my post about "Grit costing you money." Today, the data shows that most high-performers are still choosing the "redline" over the rebuild.
