Rollerskate from Solana Beach to Swami's on the 101!

Yesterday I struck it rich on my skate from Solana Beach to Swami’s. Thanks to a 5K, the 101 was closed to traffic and I was able to skate on the highway! Even without that, the skate is gorgeous and fun.
If you would like to try it, start at via de la Valle x 101 on the Coastal Rail Trail. Skate North, using the bike lane between Solana Beach and Cardiff, and then take the Encinitas Coastal Rail Trail to the end! Cross 101 if you want to check out Swami’s. It’s an 8 mile skate!

I will announce the next group skate soon. I’m thinking Rose Creek bike path midweek. Debating morning or afternoon. Anyway! Details soon! In pic: me, .homosapien , , Ruth, and just out of frame 💕

Take this scenic 3.4 mile loop between the North Park and South Park neighborhoods. Definitely for those confident skating in an urban environment, this route is a fun way to see this pretty part of town.

Thank you Sharon, Ruth, Allie, and Lauren, for joining me!

Hi! If you joined me on the group skate yesterday morning, please tell me your name and IG! I was hasty and forgot to ask everyone! I’ll tag you in the upcoming video. Thanks!!
