Healing Hearts 🌺 Inspiring Minds 🌺 Impacting the World! Grief doesn’t come in one shape—and it doesn’t follow a timeline. I know this because I’ve lived it, too.

Have you recently…

💔 Lost someone you love?
💔 Faced a painful divorce or breakup?
💔 Been rocked by a diagnosis that changed everything? It shows up in the middle of the night, in your body, in your relationships, and in the questions no one else seems to understand. And like you, I wanted to feel whole again. To stop just surviving—and start living with clarity, purpose, and peace.

✨ I’m Dr.

Believe in your own magic.

Not the kind of magic you see in movies.
The kind that helps you get back up after life knocks you down.
The kind that whispers, "Keep going," when you're not sure what comes next.
The kind that allows you to love, hope, heal, and begin again.

So often, we look outside ourselves for answers, validation, or proof that we're capable. But what if everything you need is already within you?

Your intuition.
Your resilience.
Your wisdom.
Your heart.

You have survived every challenge that has brought you to this moment. That's not luck. That's your strength.

Today, I invite you to trust yourself a little more. Listen to your inner voice. Take the next small step. Believe that you are capable of creating a life filled with purpose, peace, and possibility.

The magic isn't out there waiting to be found. It's already within you. 💜

What is one thing that makes you feel most connected to your own magic? ✨

✨ There was something truly magical about our It Takes a Village event. ✨

When I look back on the evening, what stands out most isn't the fundraising total, the auction items, or even the beautiful venue.

It's the people.

The conversations between strangers who quickly became friends. The laughter shared across tables. The generosity that filled every corner of the room. The collective belief that when a community comes together, lives can change.

What we created wasn't just an event. It was a reminder of what's possible when people lead with compassion, connection, and purpose.

Together, we raised support for women and families impacted by domestic violence. Together, we celebrated local businesses, meaningful partnerships, and the power of giving back. Together, we proved that a village is more than a concept. It's a community of people willing to show up for one another.

My heart is overflowing with gratitude for every sponsor, vendor, volunteer, donor, attendee, and supporter who helped bring this vision to life.

The magic wasn't in any one moment. The magic was in all of us. 💙

Not all grief comes from loss through death.

Sometimes grief arrives when a relationship changes.

A marriage ends. A friendship shifts. Children become independent. A relationship becomes healthier and more balanced than it once was.

Even when the change is positive, it can still bring feelings of sadness, uncertainty, or longing for what was.

That's because grief is often our response to change.

If you're navigating a relationship transition, give yourself permission to honor what you're feeling. You don't have to choose between gratitude and grief. Both can exist at the same time.

I wrote Healthy Grief to help people understand that grief is a natural part of life's transitions and to provide practical tools for moving forward with compassion and clarity.

Wherever you are in your journey, know that your feelings are valid. 💙

Sometimes the end of a relationship leaves behind more than memories.

It can leave unanswered questions, hopes that never came to be, and a version of life you thought you’d be living.

You may be grieving the future you imagined together. The routines you shared. The version of yourself that existed in that chapter of your life. Or simply the time and love you invested.

Missing someone doesn't mean you made the wrong decision.

Feeling sad doesn't mean you've failed to move on.

And grieving a relationship doesn't mean you want to go backward.

It means your heart is processing a change that mattered.

Healthy grief allows us to honor what was, learn from it, and move forward without judgment.

If you're navigating the end of a relationship, be gentle with yourself. Healing isn't about forgetting. It's about making peace with the past while creating space for what's next. 🌿

My heart is so full after our It Takes a Village event. 💛

When I first envisioned The VillaVision Wellness & Retreat Center, I dreamed of creating more than a retreat space. I dreamed of creating a place where people could gather, connect, heal, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

This evening was a beautiful reflection of that vision.

We were honored to welcome an incredible community of supporters, hear from inspiring guests, and come together to raise funds for Nosilence Noviolence, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.

One of the things I believe most deeply is that healing happens in community. When women feel seen, supported, and empowered, the ripple effect extends far beyond the individual. Families become stronger. Communities become stronger. Hope grows.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this evening possible. Your generosity and compassion remind me that we truly can create change when we come together.

It truly takes a village.

There’s something about a sunset that reminds me of grief. 🌅

Not because it’s sad, but because it marks an ending.

The sun slips below the horizon, and for a moment, we're caught between what was and what comes next. We can't hold onto the daylight, no matter how much we might want to.

Grief often feels the same way.

It asks us to honor what has changed, what has ended, and what we can no longer carry forward in the same way. Whether it's the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a dream, or a chapter of life, grief invites us to pause and acknowledge the beauty of what was.

And just like a sunset, endings can hold their own kind of beauty.

The colors linger. The memories remain. The love doesn't disappear.

As the day gives way to evening, we trust that the sun will rise again. In the same way, healing doesn't erase our loss, it helps us find hope alongside it.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is sit with the sunset, take a deep breath, and trust that a new day is coming. 💛

I knew the very first time I heard Dana S. Diaz speak…

✨ She needed to be the featured speaker at It Takes a Village (iTAV) Gala. ✨

Not just because she’s a bestselling author, speaker, and domestic violence advocate…

But because of the truth.
The courage.
The heart.
And the powerful way she helps women reclaim themselves.

And now…

You get to experience the magic between us. 💛

I recently joined Dana on SHIFTING GEARS LIVE, and this conversation is SO much more than an interview.

It’s where strategy meets soul.

Where we talk honestly about:
💥 Why subconscious patterns keep running the show (even when we “know better”)
💥 How limiting beliefs quietly keep us small
💥 What it actually takes to heal and create real change
💥 Why curiosity may be one of the most powerful tools for transformation

And beneath all of it…

A deeper conversation about helping women (especially women with children) heal deeply enough to break cycles of domestic violence and relationship abuse.

Because when a woman heals…
Children heal.
Families heal.
Communities heal.
Future generations heal.

That is exactly why Dana will be joining us as the featured speaker at It Takes a Village (iTAV) on May 30th in San Diego.

Our nonprofit partner, Nosilence Noviolence (NSNV), empowers survivors of domestic violence and breaks cycles of relationship abuse through support, education, and community change.

✨ Powerful reflection

Proceed with curiosity. And maybe a journal. 😉
