Either lose the fear or lose the opportunity.

I’m not confident in my body year round.

I feel the most confident in my in-season body: lean, strong, defined and at peak fitness! So watching my body change during the off-season can be difficult, even when I know it’s normal.

I’m learning that there’s a difference between preferring one version of my body and believing it’s the only version worthy of confidence.

My body isn’t supposed to look the same year-round because I’m not asking the same things from it year-round.

If I’m asking this body to carry me all the way to the Olympic Games, I have to learn to respect it through every phase it takes to get there. 🇲🇽❤️‍🔥
