Thank you Sirens for coming together to make this happen. San Diego’s heroes Amin Abdullah, Mansour Kaziha and Nadir Awad will always be remembered.

Can’t thank y’all enough for raising over $500 at the tailgate and donating directly to the fund that has been set up for the affected families. This is what community looks like. There is no room for hatred here. This is San Diego.

Our Captain is a force to be reckoned with! She helped lock down the leagues top scorer in Wave FC’s match up against Orlando Pride. That is no easy feat and earned her Sirens Player of the Match. Congrats, !

On Monday May 18th, three pillars of the community were horrifyingly taken at the Islamic Center of San Diego.

While match days are a joyful time, this Sunday, The Cove will also be in mourning. In honor of Amin Abdullah, Mansour Kaziha, and Nadir Awad, we will be wearing black armbands. Any one that would like one, can pick one up at the tailgate or in the cove. Donate directly or cash donations will be collected at the tailgate and contributed towards LaunchGood.com/MartyrsICSD. Nothing we do will ever be enough to truly emphasize the courage, selflessness and bravery that they showed. They gave their lives protecting the community.

We wholeheartedly stand against hatred in every single form imaginable.

In honor of our week with two weekend home games sandwiched around an away game we are having a Sandwich Party at our tailgate on Sunday! We’d love it if you would bring some sandwiches to share or whatever you think is considered a sandwich…

We’re grateful to everyone who participated in the second Sirens Art Auction, and excited for the winners to bring their new pieces home. Thank you to all our supporters and to for their time, generosity, and contributions. Art and creative expression are at the heart of Sirens supporter culture. Stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved and contribute to the creative process 🎨🖌️

50% of the proceeds raised through our art auction will be donated to Casa de Luz TJ/SD. Casa de Luz is a collective house located in Tijuana, Mexico that is open to LBGTQ+ refugees who left their home country in search of a better life. They house 50+ people at any given time awaiting asylum into the US and provide housing, meals, workshops, legal services, safety and community.
