Our last senior spotlight is our #21 Alexis McInerney!
Alexis has been a varsity starter all 4 years of high school. She transitioned from a first baseman her freshman year to an outfielder, where she unlocked her potential as an athlete. Alexis will finish third all time in hits and will hold the single season stolen base record after this year. Alexis also set state powerlifting records! Alexis will continue to play D1 softball at Fairfield University in Connecticut! We couldn’t be prouder of her hard work and dedication and cant wait to see her compete at the next level.

Our next senior spotlight is #16 Maddy Ferrari!
Maddy has been with us since Freshman year and has played in the outfield all 4 years. She has put forth work to improve herself each year to be herself in a better position to be successful. Her bright smile and laugh is a great presence in the dugout and will be missed! She is extremely smart and I can’t wait to see what’s next for her. Here’s to Maddy!

As we approach senior night we will spotlight all 3 of them beginning with #16 Emma Szabo!
Emma has been with us since 8th grade where she played on our inaugural team. Her versatility as an outfielder and a pitcher has been an integral part of the squad for the last 5 years. She’ll graduate with the second most career hits all time and the second most innings pitched all time. Emma will continue her softball and academic career at Florida Southern next year! We couldn’t be more proud to be apart of her journey!

Join us for senior night on Wednesday April 22nd! We will honor Maddy, Alexis, and Emma with a ceremony starting at 630!

Join us tonight as your Lady Sailors take on Inspiration Academy (JV AT 5:00, VARSITY AT 7:00) as we come together for our Annual Pediatric Cancer Night, honoring the life of Aubrien Jimenez.

We’ll hold a special tribute before first pitch as we celebrate her life and raise awareness for an important cause.
