how do you child’s pose?
Worked on this variation of child’s pose with a client this morning to support her body’s needs:
*using a blanket under the torso to create more spinal flex ion to allow for stretching the spinal muscles
*blanket under the hips to prevent going too deep into the posture, as this client has hyper mobility syndrome and we are learning how to safely work in different ranges besides just end-range (which is painful for the client)
*block under the forehead supports her neck and allows her to relax and feel grounded in the pose

No matter what shape a pose takes, the most important thing is that it supports and fits the person practicing it.

Happy Mother’s Day!
My ❤️ is full!
Blessed beyond measure and grateful for these cuties that call me mama. I love getting to see the world through their eyes as and I share more adventures with them. These tiny humans truly are gifts.
I honor all the women who have given parts of themselves for my benefit. I am a better mom because of your examples.
Thank you my for such a chill day with yummy food!
