Friends and Family,

I am facilitating and coaching in a CHALLENGE FOR GAY MEN around relationships starting on Feb 20, with an amazing team of gay coaches who have committed to helping elevate our community.

The focus is uncovering what drives us in the relationships and strategies for creating a healthier relationship with self and others.

If you know someone who is at a point of self-reflection, struggles internally or with a relationship (intimate, social circle, family), or just needs a bit of a lift-me-up, I’d be super grateful for you guiding him to this program.

February has a been a month to focus on my physical and mental health. These last few months I have been living a little too much and my mental health and physical being were not at its best. I recognized my behaviors were not aiding me and I began to feel exhausted, depressed, irritable, and mental anguish.

So, I gave up alcohol for the most part, decided to eat healthy and commit to exercising.

As a leadership coach it is important that I am doing well, because I cannot be a resource to my clients and provide the quality sessions they deserve. I use myself as a tool for their journey, so I must feel good too.

Mental Health Mondays
Mindset Mondays

A daily reminder that failures do not define your intelligence, character, abilities, or tenacity. They are simply learning opportunities

It is okay to set boundaries, even with family. You deserve to have them and set them for yourself and your health.

Although perception is reality, your perception is not always correct. There is always more to the story or the narrative you have concocted in your head. Do not assume, but rather seek to understand.

Lastly, your conditions of health or circumstances does no define you. You are more

Give yourself grace and love

Self Love Saturday

A reminder to myself that the world is a little brighter with me in it.

That I am a beacon of hope, inspiration, and aspiration for someone out there.

You are too, don’t forget that.
You are a ray of sunshine on someone’s cloudy day

Find Your Purpose Friday

Today is the perfect day to reflect. Give yourself the grace to sit and think about your work week.

As your sit and reflect ask yourself:
What is my purpose in life?
Was I purposeful in my intentions this week?
What steps can I take to be purposeful in my daily actions

Finding purpose, gives us a sense of strength, motivation, empowerment, and willingness to be brave

Values and purpose go hand in hand with one another . With my clients, we explore values to discover their purpose and calling.

Through my coaching, clients develop a system of self-reflection and intention. Clients begin to ask:
What value does this provide?
For what purpose am I doing this for?
Does this align with my values?

Through these questions, they begin to navigate the world with intention and purpose, while living true to their personal values.

Lifestyle to live” -Criss Jami

World Values Day 2021

As a values-based coach, the first step my clients and I take is to identify their values. Then we use their values as a foundation for their growth, development, and transformation. We discover if the values they have adopted are their own or are have they been imposed by their culture, family, or society.
These are some of the questions I ask:
What are your values?
What do you value?
What is your value?
How do you live up to your values?

Part of the work with my coaching clients is understanding our bodily reaction’s to various circumstances. Our somatic responses are warnings to our body. When we can identify how we are physically feeling, we can take control and navigate better, while responding more intentionally.
