When I pressure tested this pool’s return side plumbing, water and air started erupting into the skimmer. The leak is directly next to the skimmer. The Flagstone will need to be removed so we can access the pipe and repair it. The trickiest part will be not damaging the skimmer.

Dye testing is a low tech, but extremely efficient method to determine whether a suspected Leak point is actually losing water. The dye simply colors the water to let you visually see if it’s exiting through the suspected leak point.
