Come out to Cactus Park this Saturday for some fun, games, raffle and riding, all to support Cooper!

Chula Vista BMX has partnered up with Rebel Run Sports Camp for a special “Gift Card Drive” to donate to those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey & are in desperate need of our help!

Rebel Run BMX is located in Montgomery, TX…an area that was heavily affected by Hurricane Harvey & is just an hour north of Houston.

All donations will be sent directly to Rebel Run BMX & distributed to local families & BMX families that are on the road to putting their lives back together.

For the next week, Chula Vista BMX will be collecting:
- Gift Cards (Walmart, Target, Lowes & Home Depot)
- Clothing
- Toiletries

Let's all come together & give what we can to help families rebuild! Let's provide them with some comfort in knowing that they are loved and supported by people from all over the country!

State Qualifier weekend is coming up!

The long-awaited and much-anticipated location for this year's Gold Cup Finals Southwest has been decided. Chula Vista BMX - at the newly named Elite Athlete Training Center, will once again play host to the Gold Cup Championships.
The Southwest Finals will be held over the weekend September 29 thru October 1st, with the Gold Cup plates being handed out on Sunday in front of the Olympic flame.

We invite all of you to join us on Saturday Night, SEPTEMBER 30th at Chula Vista's Elite Athlete Training Center for the 2017 National BMX Hall of Fame ceremony. The ticketed event will take place in front of the US Olympic "Eternal Flame", following Saturday's round of the Gold Cup Southwest race.
Ticket sales and information will be given once the Hall of Fame voting has been decided.

BMX Summercamp Dates!

Former BMX racing celebs put breaks on crime as members of OCSD bike patrol team Watching Sgt. Stu Thomsen and Deputy Rob Miranda perform various maneuvers on their Safariland police-issued mountain bikes at the park adjacent to Yorba Linda Police Services, it’s easy to imagine them in race mode – geared up and going against competitors in bicycle motorcross.

Opponents to BMX racing in Kit Carson Park, "Friends of Kit Carson Park" & "We are Kit Carson Park" Facebook groups have been posting some ignorant and hateful things about the sport of BMX racing as well as the families involved in the sport. They are equating a BMX track to Liquor Stores, pawn shops, gun stores & even depicting BMXers as evil clowns. They really need to be educated about this youth sport and how their community would benefit from a BMX track as an addition to the sports complex at Kit Carson park.
