On this Beautiful Christmas Day working Ruby in the round pen to the tune of ACDC playing Back in Black was so much fun. While my headphones delivered that driving beat that makes you just want to dance 💃, Ruby was the visual entertainment. Her athletic trot and sassy cranial punctuation just made me laugh and want to move more! We both got a work out 🏋️♀️ What a gorgeous sun ☀️ shining day to be in the presence of this magnificent beauty.

So I think I like this round the best for today. I may have had her a bit more forward than necessary, but she did everything I asked of her. She was wonderful . She was perfect in the under saddle as well. It was a very small show but such a great day for training. This horse is going to make somebody a very lovely show Horse.

The evening sky was kind of interesting tonight.
So cute! I really enjoyed my time working with Stephanie and her pony Penny. Penny’s work ethic blossomed considerable in the year and a half she spent with us. With a little help from JL to smooth out the rough edges we soon got the two together and in the show arena. If I have said it once I have said it a dozen times Stephanie is a beautiful rider. And, “Orchard Hills Ment To Be” was bred well, and bred to do her job.

Beautiful Braveheart is enjoying his breakfast at WCF. An American Paint horse stallion that is in great condition for all of his 25 and a 1/2 years of age. He is the sweetest boy.

Absolutely beautiful day at WCF. The horses were so good today. And, the new students proved themselves to be here for all of the best reasons❤️. I think, that is what makes training so fun for me😁. The horses are important, the people are important, the team is important,! the connection and the great outdoors are also so important!!! Good stuff, more to come...all is well. Thank you 🙏.

JL Montellano and Reagan put in two great rides yesterday in the Ch/Ad jumper division. What a lovely mare. Reagan, a Hanoverian-American Paint horse cross shows so much promise. She loves her job. She is balanced, brave and has beautiful auto changes.
Congratulations to Stephanie Idene Sakata and her green pony hunter Orchard Hill’s Ment To Be for their Championship in the pre/ad 2’6 hunter division yesterday at Aiken Highfields. This pair as come so far in such a short time. WCF is proud of the two of them.❤️
