As recruiting season ramps up, I’ve found myself thinking about the players who truly leave a mark.

Liv is one of them.

As our libero, she embodied what the position is meant to be — energetic, steady and reliable.

She showed up every day with toughness, consistency, and genuine care for her teammates, bringing calm to the back row and taking us to a conference championship.

We’ll miss her presence, her voice, and her leadership — and most of all, the incredible young woman she became along the way.

Our program is better because she wore this jersey.

Be like Liv. 💙

THE PLAYGROUND IS AN INCREDIBLE LAB.

A string for a net.
A beat-up ball.

Where skill is built.
Where adaptation is learned.
Where players read, adjust, and let it rip.

What looks messy is often where real learning happens.
The game is a continuous problem-solving environment.

Don’t chase perfect reps.
Create spaces to compete freely.
Design environments to explore fully.

That’s where skill shows up.
That’s where confidence is born.
That’s where the game becomes fun again.

That’s the playground.

KEEP IT LOOSE.

In Brazil, we learned in the street.
A string for a net.
A beat-up ball.
Problems to solve in real time.

No perfect drills.
No scripted reps.
Just perception, timing, and creativity under constraint.

The game is a continuous problem-solving environment.

Design environments that force players to see, adjust, and let it rip.

What looks messy is often where real skill is built.

xcellence doesn’t show up by accident.
It’s built—one decision at a time.

The standards you hold.
The habits you repeat.
The response you choose when it’s hard.

That’s how progress compounds.
That’s how people grow.

Create an environment
where excellence becomes the norm.

Mentally, we are here.

I turned 46 on January 1st.

Being a New Year’s baby has a way of forcing reflection.
The calendar flips, the noise quiets, and one question stays:

What am I carrying forward?

These lessons were shaped by fatherhood, leadership, faith, failure, and a lot of early mornings.

If one helps, keep it.

46. January 1st.
A birthday that doesn’t let you hide from reflection.

This past year demanded clarity.
Some lessons came through wins.
Most came through challenges.

The climb toward my best version is never-ending.
Not loud.
Not flashy.

Daily work.
Quiet discipline.
Consistent choices aligned with clear standards.

I enter 46 sharper.
Grounded.
Ready.

Focused on growth.
On presence.
On serving with purpose.

365 new opportunities.

Let’s play. 👊🏻

The end of the year is more than goal-setting.

It’s a chance to recalibrate.
To notice what helped you grow.
And to gently let go of what no longer does.

Not everything needs to come with you into the next year.
Some things served their purpose.
Some things created noise instead of momentum.

This is a good time to:
• Tighten your systems
• Simplify your decisions
• Protect your attention

Growth doesn’t only come from adding more.
It also comes from removing the clutter.

There’s no need to rush into what’s next.
Enter the new year lighter.

Cleaner.
More deliberate.

And let the forward motion flow 👊🏻

Connected, resilient, and grounded in unshakable confidence.

We leaned into the grind, trusted each other, and faced every moment with courage, conviction, and heart.

From our daily standards to our collective belief, this championship reflects the very best of who we are.

Proud of our craft, proud of our connection, and endlessly proud of this team! ❤️ 👊🏻
