Why stay low on the breath? It’s actually about both drag & propulsion… Keeping the shoulders low helps to minimize the angle of the rest of the body during the breath which in turn, helps reduce drag. This also means we can use some of the energy that was previously spent down pressing & turn it into propulsion sooner by getting the finger tips down early in the catch phase. Thanks for visiting us Rebecca! It was great to watch you make so much progress over the week. Stay tuned for her progress on freestyle & backstroke during her visit! #swim #swimcoach #swimtrainingkids #swimpower #swimlife #swimaustralia #swimming #butterfly #butterflytechnique #swimtips #swimtraining #swimtrainer #competitiveswimming #competitiveswimmer
