Really thankful for the support I have been receiving from #challengedathletesfoundation. #cafcyclingclub This last weekend I made it, I got the score at Sylvian Beach Tri, Paratriathlon Series, for national championship 2021.

Ryen and Friends (included me) rode 57 miles before her future endeavors...Alabama, Belgium, and Tokyo! Muhammad Ali said it best...fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee! No ones can beat me! I shocked the world!!
Ryen, you can shock the world!
Is collegiate cycling a NCAA recognized sport? Are there scholarships available?? Any for challenged athletes?
think of what you can do, and then push beyond it. when you put your mind to something, there is no stopping you.

this was my ride on the 7th. it was one of the roughest ones I had yet and the most rewording. I called it demon hill. never thought I could make it up that..pushed myself to the max on that run and powered threw the pain and exhaustion. the big push time is at 15:47 in the video.

Cycling season is heating up! Now is the time to get with the CAF Cycling Club Saturday Ride and mingle with both supporters of the cause and those that cycle with disabilities. All abilities - no cost or obligation!

As a cyclist with CAF you have personally helped build our community, created unforgettable memories, and been part of over 15 years of riding. This year's 15th Anniversary of the Million Dollar Challenge only has a couple of 7-day riding spots remaining - so don't delay, and register today! Whether you've cycled the Million Dollar Challenge (MDC) in the past or have been thinking about riding it, now is your time. We will be closing the 7-day ride registration on August 1. With limited spots available, don't miss out on your chance to ride for a reason this fall.

If you are already registered, we cannot wait to share the experience with you and hope you’ll pass this along to anyone who needs to be aware of the upcoming deadline.

Join us October 15-22, 2021 and challenge yourself to ride every mile. If you're unable to participate in the 7-day event, we will still be offering a 3-day option that will begin in Santa Barbara on October 19 and finish in Mission Bay on October 22. Whether you can join us for the entire 620 miles or meet us along our journey on Day 4, we hope to see you on the road! - Click here for more info--->http://support.challengedathletes.org/site/TR/ActiveCompanies/General?fr_id=1760&pg=entry

When it's a beautiful day — what could be more perfect than a bike ride? This Sat 8:07AM at rear parking of Flower Hill Promenade - 42.7 miles - All Welcome as we know cycling can be a lot of fun, especially when you're riding in a group with new and old friends. It's sometimes easy to forget the rules of the road when we're riding in groups, or haven't been riding much lately. As a friendly reminder, we want to provide you with some safety tips that can not only help you but help your fellow Club members from getting in an accident. Please remember why we're riding to support CAF and always be considerate and safe out on the road.

WE'RE TRYING SOMETHING NEW
When: Saturday, June 5

Time: 8:07 AM Departure from parking lot behind Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar.

YOUR CHOICE
Route 1: Elfin - 45.5 miles

Route 2: Super Chicken - 42.7 miles

We know that many members of our community were able to stay active during this last year, and we also understand that many of you may not have had the opportunity to get on your bike or indoor trainer. In an effort to ensure everyone riding with the CAF Cycling Club feels comfortable and confident joining the group, we'll be offering two different rides this Saturday. You can choose to do Elfin Forest which offers slightly more mileage and considerably more climbing or join others on the infamous Super Chicken ride. Whichever route you choose, you'll be surrounded by fellow Club members all riding for the same reason - to support our Challenged Athletes!

What Will the Rides Look Like?

For the time being, we believe it's best to keep the groups to a maximum of 15 riders. We plan to have riders divide into small groups and depart separately. We hope that you'll work with us to ensure this is a smooth process and we can depart on time!
