We hope everyone's season has started off well. Please forward the following to your families ahead of the tournament.
The Hudl Southern California Invitational is excited to announce the 1st Annual PrepVolleyball.com Collegiate Recruiting Symposium, presented by the Hudl Southern California Invitational. The event is open to all players and families (playing in the tournament or not). This is the ONLY high school recruiting symposium hosted by PrepVolleyball in the country. Speakers will include at least 1 coach from each level of collegiate volleyball (NCAA Division 1, 2, 3, and NAIA) who will discuss what intercollegiate volleyball and life is like at their level institution as well as the best avenues and ways to get recruited at their specific level. Learn the tips, tricks, and best practices in navigating the crazy journey towards a scholarship directly from the collegiate recruiters themselves!. The session will be followed by a brief Q&A with the coaches. The symposium will last 1 hour (hosted at the Alliant University play site where all Division 1 teams will be assigned for Friday), providing ample time for all players and teams to arrive at their specific play site if different (all division 2 teams), in time to warmup for a 3:00 match (all play sites are within 15 min drive of Alliant).

When: Tournament day 1 - Friday October 13th, from 1:00-2:00pm before the Hudl Southern California Invitational tournament play begins (3:00pm). Timing should leave ample time to travel to any tournament site prior to warmups for match 1.

Who: Colleges scheduled to speak: UCSD, USD, Occidental, Mira Costa Junior College, Arizona Christian University
Cost: Preregistration - $30.00, Day of - $40.00, Full team registration - $250.00

Congratulations Canyon Crest Academy-HUDL Southern California Invitational D1 Champions! CCA defeated Ventura in straight sets to win the biggest high school tourney on the west coast. Thank you Nfinity for outfitting our Champs with knee pads and shoes.

Congrats to Carlsbad for winning the division 2 championship of the 2016 Hudl Southern California Invitational, beating Rancho Buena Vista in the finals 15-13 in the 3rd! And thanks to Ultra Ankle for providing the winners prizes-ankle braces and tees for all!
