Hot cocoa soap
•
This pic was taken RIGHT after the cut. It will settle a bit while it cures.
•
Loving how it turned out with the cinnamon pencil line.
•
The winter vibe is cute with this one. Once they are cured and hit the shelf you will for sure want to grab one.
•
Keep an eye out for awesome soaps and soap gifts for the coming holiday season.

What’s up Wednesday.
•
Today I was going to post about the garden. But then I saw this from Vex King | Self-love Writer and had to share the slides to make sure more people see them.
•
When I saw it, it spoke to me on the parenting front. Obviously my boy has a dad, I mean, nature!
•
But if you have been around awhile, you know what’s up. The lens we look at the world through is quite different. These slides reminded me of weekend interaction I was faced with.
•
Really good things were happening and coming on the baseball field and somehow were being seen differently and I got an earful!
•
I had come out of the restroom and had a conversation that had me so confused. I repeatedly asked: what are you talking about? I had been gone 4 minutes and it was like I had lost my bearings based on what I was hearing.
•
We parted ways and I started putting the pieces together. It took about 90seconds to process and gather the information. Then I was pi**ed!!!!
•
I had some choices:
-Allow him to miss the great coming.
-Send a text calmly stating the facts.
-Send a text that started with pull your head out of your ass!
•
I’ll let you decide this part of the story. But I got a text back within 4 minutes apologizing. I did not read it until after the game.
•
Then after the game I got an apology and I took that moment to have a real conversation.
•
It included talk about emotional control, energy, holding space, and sitting in whatever the situation is with our child.
•
Let’s show up in the world with positivity! Not unrealistic stuff, but positive energy. It brings so much good with it!
•
Expecting the worst has never been my groove. I was actually asked yesterday if I had ever been on antidepressants. I replied: NO. She said: you must have just been born this way.
•
Here is the thing. Everything is a choice. I know that positivity brings more. I believe whatever the groove brings more of that, so why would I want anything else!
•
Take a minute. Think about what you want. Energetically expect it and proceed accordingly!

Detox soak!
•
Dude!
•
This for everyone. I met a man the other night who bought all of my soaks. He asked a few questions, I gave him all the deets. As I was bagging them all up he said he had a 24 year old son who is autistic. For 18 months of his life he was not. Then MMR visit showed up.
•
They have spent the last 23 years doing everything to try to clear his system. I said that I imagined his son would not tolerate a bath and he said that was correct so he was getting them because he thought he could get him to do a foot soak. I offered to make it in bulk if his son was amenable to the foot soak.
•
Here is the thing… we all have stuff. Some bigger, some smaller. But we all have things in our bodies we shouldn’t and things that could help us if we flooded our system.
•
That’s what this soak does! Every time I do a live event I sell out of this one.
•
Come see me at a live event or book a SHOP FROM YOUR SEAT BOUTIQUE where I bring an array of products to your home, teach you and your friends the value of natural products, you get to try a bunch of stuff while you visit; drink wine; eat cookies; however you host!
•
But most important, you get to ask all the questions and I’ll answer them. Life is so much better natural!
•
You can message here to see what available dates I have.

Long baseball days had me canning pickles until 1am.
•
The magical thing about canning season is it happens when it is freaking hot outside!
•
So nighttime canning comes in clutch.
•
This week is shifting to a reset and organize week. Why? Dude…. It’s freaking hot and things don’t like to work when it’s this hot.
•
Remember all natural ingredients and no preservatives will have all things not setting up and melting when they should be solid.
•
So this week production will consist of soap and infused honey.
•
I have some organizing tasks. And that will take us through.
•
But why the pickles in this post???
•
Because I think something coming this fall will be something I make this week and packaged just like these pickles.
•
Here’s a hint, it’s not honey!

That’s a wrap. Chicken Cesar wrap.
•
This has been a multiple times a week request from Mr Kash as of late.
•
A few weeks ago I taught him how to make Cesar dressing. First off, the mayo. I think mayo is gross… so I taught him avocado oil and egg.
•
Toss in about 2/3 c avocado oil, a farm fresh egg, little dry mustard, tiny pinch of salt, half a lemon squeezed. Hit it with the immersion blender.
•
Once that is thick and fluffy you’ll add in a big clove of garlic, 2 if you love the garlic. Some Worcestershire sauce, the other half of lemon squeezed in, some Dijon, a big handful of parm, some black pepper. Blend again.
•
Give it a taste. Be happy or add more of whatever thing is needed per your taste buds.
•
Take whatever chicken you have. Until last night I have only used chicken breasts that I have cooked on my black stone. You could use rotisserie. But last night got baked chicken tenders.
•
I saw a couple months ago Costco was testing baked chicken tenders in Chicago. Well, they made their way to my Costco. 1lb chicken tenders for $6.99. Way better than Canes or Dave’s Hot Chicken! Plus… baked. He asked if we could get them yesterday and we did. So much chicken that there were leftovers perfect for dinner salad.
•
I cut a big romaine heart. Sliced up the chicken, tossed in some dressing. That stuff is good about 5 days. Then once it was all mixed up I put it on a giant tortilla and gave it a roll.
•
Popped it on a hot cast with a little bit of butter. Held it with a press, flipped and did the other side.
•
I just got some lovely avocados but totally forgot. That would have been a great add in.
•
Just wanted to share since this one is fresh, fast, easy, and on hard repeat this summer!

25 years ago today I got the worst phone call. Most of that day is muscle memoried right into my soul.
It was the last day I saw my dad. He came by my house. I was supossed to be gone, but some crazy circumstances with my keys happened and I wasn’t able to leave. I realized later that the universe was making sure I got to see him one last time.
I never got to have all of my people on this planet together. But I’m fortunate that the energy was strong enough that my dad came to visit Kash so much when he was little and he would talk about it.
If you actually knew my dad you knew how kind and big hearted he was. He was my person. The one who knew what was going on by 10 seconds on the phone. Who would remind me if he was generous in acts or conversation that “no matter how old you are, you will always be my kid and my job is to help you get over any speed bump as fast as possible”.
My dad was a big impact guy. His last day in the planet he handled a bunch of stuff that made the following weeks flowable business wise. Probably 20 people told me they spoke to him that day because they had questions or thoughts and decisions to make and ran it by him. He was at my house for 30 minutes. We was on the job site with his guys for a bit. And at 1220pm he was gone.
They were getting the footings ready on a house in Poway. One of his guys was down in the ground, one was on the hill. He was bent over talking to the one in the ground. He stood up, turned his head and gave the one on the hill what he said was the biggest smile he’d ever seen, then hit the ground.
It’s a reminder how fast life changes. I wish I had the chance to watch my boy with my dad. But trust when I tell you I get to see my dad come through my boy and I’m so thankful for that!
It’s wild that 25 years later I still meet people that knew my dad and tell me how much they love him, what a great man he was, the impact he had on them, how much they miss him.
I have friends who will send me things they see online talking about that and even though they never knew my dad they say “just like your dad!”
