Over the next few days we will be doing a little Meet the Team of 2026 Proleague and many of these members you'll see in different combinations as we travel about for the rest of thr 26 and 27 season. First up we have Brandon Upshaw on the right of the photo. Brandon is a master machinist and head design engineer at MIP a multi million dollar machine shop in Covina California that machines RC car hop up parts and tools. MIP is also one of our house sponsors that will continue to help Cobalt and machine parts, an invaluable asset in the space of combat robotics. Brandon comes from the competition world of RC and was an accomplished racer in his younger years. Brandon is an invaluable asset to the team being able to recognize deficiencies in design and find solutions for those deficiencies on the fly and make components on the spot. Thank you Brandon for being part of Team Cobalt! Next up is Dane King on the Left, Dane is Brandon's brother in law and is a welder / fabricator as a hobbiest and media manager by trade. Though Dane had not been in BattleBots before or worked on Cobalt. He was able to jump right in and be super valuable in getting Cobalt up and running between fights. Appreciate both Brandon and Danes help at this year's fights and can look forward to seeing them both here at future events.

And that's a wrap for the Battlebots action today! All the matches have concluded here at Battlebots Pro League this weekend. There will be more matches fought over the next two weeks before a final victor emerges, but at this point that's the total extent of what we're allowed to say. The series is scheduled to release on YouTube in June so be sure to check it out.

It's Sunday here at Battlebots Pro League and the team is making some last minute adjustments to get Cobalt into tip-top fighting shape. It's pretty awesome having a well equipped machine shop on hand that all the competitors can use.

Two matches down! We went up against Copperhead BattleBot, piloted by their 9 year old phenom James. I can't say how we did but win, lose, or draw, Matt always drives the wheels off Cobalt.

The first round of match-ups has concluded and all the teams are getting their bots ready for round 2. The results are a secret for now, but we have some spoiler-free photos from around the pits this morning to share.

One match down, two to go. The feeling as you walk out to the arena, share some last-minute fist bumps and hugs with your teammates, and then wait for the countdown is something special. We're not at liberty to post any photos from after the start of the match or tell you how it went down - you'll have to wait until the new season hits the web in June!
