1985 vs. 2017. The way it used to be, and the way it is now. What a difference. In 1985, the Bext model PTX 80 was a breakthrough. An FM exciter capable of up to 80 W when other exciters on the market were mostly just 20 W or 30 W. That was then.
How about the new Bext XL 6000 FM transmitter, which comes barreling down with 2017 technology and 6000 W in a size that is more or less the same size as the old PTX 80? That's 75 times more power in approximately the same size. How is that for progress? And of course the Bext XL 6000 offers built-in options that in 1985 were improbable to even imagine, like Remote Control by Internet, Digital Audio, Touch Screen, Audio over IP capability, Stereo Generator, RDS Encoder, and a mind-boggling record-breaking efficiency that keeps your power bill low and your transmitter cool because very little energy is ever wasted into heat. Bext won't forget its glorious past (and still provides support for every model it ever sold) but it does not rest on its laurels and catapults itself into the future with constantly evolving technological breakthroughs.
