Wasabi Vip raced hard at the Portland Dragon boat Festival this past weekend! Although we did not get medals this time, we were proud to know that our team got faster and more competitive with every race we competed in this past weekend. We are looking forward to working hard this next year during the “ off-season” so that we can race competitively next summer at several races.
Picture descriptions:
In the pictures below, our Wassabi VIP team members are seated in the boat, wearing our Wassabi green shirts. In some of the pictures we are paddling away from the dock, and toward the start line while in other pictures, we are fully in race mode and extending our bodies as far as they will go to catch that water!

Beautiful Tuesday evening practice! The sunset and the peaceful river this time of the year is our favorite time to paddle🌆
PD:
Glenda took a picture of everyone from the front of the boat, looking at every paddlers smiling ear to ear. An almost full boat load, with our Steer guy Corey making a peace sign while at the back of the boat. Peaceful water around and the steel bridge and beautiful sky in the background. We are joined by one of the Team grandmaster’s paddler Larry and Brinton cross roster with Team Burn.
