The San Diego Chargers are encouraging fans to head to the entrance gates earlier than usual for the kickoff to account for the slight additional time that will be required at the gates. We appreciate and thank you for your patience.
In an effort to provide you with the best-possible game-day experience you expect and deserve, the NFL has enhanced our security procedures at the stadium gates. The additional procedure will include a quick security pat-down of the area below the knees. All pat-downs are conducted by same-gender screeners.
With that in mind, we hope fans will head to the entrance gates earlier to account for the slight additional time required at the gates. For your convenience, all admission gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Guests holding tickets for club seats or luxury seats may enter through VIP gates 3 hours prior to kickoff. To expedite your way through the process, we strongly suggest that all items be clearly visible; that you use clear or see-through bags to carry items in, and avoid carrying backpacks or large bags with lots of pockets that need to be opened and inspected.
It’s well worth these few extra seconds to help everyone relax and enjoy the games. We appreciate and thank you for your patience.
