With great sadness, we mourn the loss of Jeff Bailey, owner of Bikesport from 1979-2014. The Huntsville Classic has had several promoters and title sponsors over the years, including Bikesport as operator for several years this decade until Jeff closed his shop and retired. So many great mechanics and salespersons came through his shop, and his race teams were responsible for many cyclocross and mountain bike races in the greater Houston region, as both a sponsor and promoter and operator. Condolences to his family and friends, and the extended Bikesport family from customers, social rides, and race teams.
