Baseball Player’s Need Recovery Time !

There are two things I’ve sworn by since high school that made a real difference in my performance. One of them is resistance band training. It’s not easy, and it takes discipline, but if you’re serious about performance, this should be part of your daily routine.

Back then, I did my resistance band work three times a day, once in the morning, again around midday, and once before bed. The key is understanding that the real gains come on the return to the wall. That’s where your stabilizer muscles fire. These are the muscles responsible for controlling deceleration, change of direction, and overall joint stability, all critical for speed, strength, and injury prevention.

If you’re flying through your band reps without control, you’re missing the point. You’re not building the small muscles that keep your body moving efficiently and powerfully on the field.
