The past year has been a year of loss and grief, all while my body is creating this beautiful life. Death and creation, existing all within the same breath, the same body, in just one year.
These transitions have taught me what it means to fully surrender: to my body, to circumstances I cannot control, to vulnerability I didn’t choose but have had to sit in anyway. There is no controlling a body that is growing life, just as there is no controlling loss. Both ask the same thing of you. Let go.
I’ve learned that support, community, and village come in every shape and size. Sometimes I’m the one being held. Sometimes I’m the one showing up for someone else. Both are the village. Both are sacred.
And maybe the biggest lesson of all is this: love and loss are not opposites. They are two sides of the same coin, minted from the same source. You cannot have the depth of one without the capacity for the other. To love this deeply is to understand, on some level, what it means to lose. This year has held both, at once, inside of me.

We spend so much time waiting for a rescue or a radical change of scenery, completely missing the fact that we hold the keys to our own peace.
It is incredibly easy to fall into the habit of blaming our schedules, our relationships, or our daily grinds for feeling stuck. But a lot of the walls around us are psychological. When we look at our lives as a heavy list of things we have to do, we give away all our power.
True autonomy starts when you change your internal language. When you realize that showing up, staying put, or continuing a routine are all active decisions you are making every single day, the resentment burns off. You aren’t a passenger to your own circumstances. You are the one deciding where to stand.
What area of your life right now feels like a trap simply because you’ve forgotten you are choosing it?

This week I start fresh, speak with care, and let myself be fully seen. This is enough.

Entering this week with a specific focus: less forcing, more allowing. Real growth happens when you anchor yourself in quiet confidence and trust the process unfolding around you.
My challenge for you this week is to let go of the control grip. Where are you holding on too tightly right now, and how can you open up to unexpected breakthroughs instead?

When your career objective is driven entirely by speed, status, and external validation, it is easy to lose yourself. Hustle culture convinces us that burnout is a badge of honor, but building a life that looks enviable online while feeling completely hollow on the inside isn’t an achievement. It is a trap.
True professional alignment requires us to step off the treadmill and audit our goals. If your work lacks personal alignment, clear purpose, and genuine contribution, you aren’t succeeding. You are just running fast in the wrong direction.
If you stripped away your job title and financial status today, would you still be proud of the footprint you are leaving behind?
