Jeers to the BLM who last week, bafflingly, lifted a ban on the use off M-44 "cyanide bombs" on public lands.

These spring-activated devices that deliver a deadly dose of sodium cyanide to any animal who sniffs one out indiscriminately killed over 88,000 animals from 2014-2022, including foxes, raccoons, opposums, skunks, and even dogs. They'd been banned since 2023.

The federal government shouldn’t act as hired guns for the meat industry, and it’s unjustified in “managing” wild predators. Especially so with the use of obscene poison bombs that indiscriminately kill.
