So let's have a moment for this dude, the legendary Steve Mitchell. Over two decades of friendship where
sometime he acts like my little brother (I'm older), and the next day he's my big brother. Whenever you are around there is going to be laughter, there is going to be fairness, there is going to be words of wisdom, sometimes a shock factor, the raw unsold truth, or maybe a suprise.

I always judge people by the size of their heart.

You have the biggest.

We are all in your corner forever.

I was born in 1974. My mom got me my first skateboard when I was around 4 or 5. It was a green G&S Fibreflex. I had that board forever. I cherished it. I was a lonely kid and used to skate around Crown Point on it looking for friends. At the same time, there was a local San Diegan skater who was skating around looking for a world championship, which he got. He was on his own G&S Fibreflex...but his mom didn't buy it for him...it was HIS pro model. Even though we were skating in the same city, it took years to find this friend. Today he gave me a pair of legendary and rare Vision Street Wear high tops. As tempting as it is, I won't ever wear these. Thank you Dennis. I cherish our friendship, and when you speak, I listen....especially when you speak about God.

So...I'm letting some dude borrow my race bike for the So Cal Classic at Glen Helen this year. Now I'm worried he's going to beat me on my own machine. I wish he would just stick to skateboarding.
