[Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2022] 🇦🇪

Although I did not get the results that I wanted, I am thrilled to have won three of my matches and reached the finals 😊👍🏻 Among 26 competitors in my division, I was not only the youngest but also the lightest and am nothing but optimistic for when the playing field is more level in terms of weight. Playing against bigger guys in the adults category truly helped me assess and improve my Jiu-Jitsu 🙏🏻

Ngayon ay gusto ko lamang pong iparating ang taos puso kong pasasalamat sa lahat ng nagbigay tiwala sa pagharap natin sa hamon na patuloy na i-angat ang pangalan ng Pilipinas sa larangan ng martial arts o combat sports.

This weekend represented for me a lot about what I want people to understand about Martial Arts family and the Team spirit. From top competitors to the hobbyists the motivation and support were the same. We win and we lose but in the end we are Family. We celebrate one another's victory and we rise others up in their defeat.
