These three quilts were made from a much loved grandma who loved purple🥰

This cherished and aged blanket was given to me by a friend whose husband had loved it since childhood. She asked me to “make something out of it”…
So, here’s what it became! I found some fabric that reflected his outdoor hobbies and I added a super soft, minky backing with a similar, satin binding to match the original blanket.
Now, he can snuggle it again and it can be passed down to his first, future Grandbaby!

Here’s another one I made for a high schooler. He had a baby bib and a couple of capes☺️ from his toddler years…so sweet! With items like that, I like to stitch them onto a panel so you can still see what they were and not just a square piece of fabric.

I love making quilts that show a little path of someone’s life so far. This one was for a high school boy and included a special infant onesie, toddler shirts and class t-shirts, amongst other cute things 😊

Jersey and T-shirt quilts are great Christmas, birthday and graduation gifts!

Just finished this memory quilt made from 20+ year old receiving blankets💕 She wanted to keep them as large as possible, not cut into smaller squares so that’s what we did! It turned out great! And double sided!
Such a sweet gift for her grown kiddo to give to his future baby💕

Just finished this quilt that my wonderful neighbor had me make for her grandson💕
I think the quilt top border adds so much to this one.

Christmas quilt made with a mother’s Christmas sweaters and a daughter’s Christmas jammies🎄

Just finished this king size quilt for someone who lost her husband recently.
He was known for having a “uniform” of blue dress shirts and khakis so I created this pattern showcasing both💕

I love doing the T-shirt quilts but it was sure fun getting creative with this one😊

This sweet family lost their precious Carsyn, only 17 years old, to COVID-19.
I hope these quilts bring them a little bit of comfort through the holidays without her❤️
