Suiō-ryū Iai Kenpō Shibu of San Diego
The objective at the Suio Ryu's Bu Rai An Dojo, a shibu of the Suio Ryu® as recognized by Soke Katsuse Yoshimitsu Kagehiro, is to foster training in and follow the teachings of this 400 year-old Japanese sogo bujutsu in a manner similar to that as would be found at the honbu of the Suio Ryu®, the Hekiunkan, Shimizu, Japan.
Classes, 2 - 3 hours in length, will start at 1:00pm the Second Sunday in March (March 8th).
EXCHANGE RATE
Right now is a great time to obtain katana and/or wakizashi from Japan. The exchange rate is very much in your favor. If you need information on a great dealer et me know and I;ll send you a link.
In the process of finding a new dojo to train at as the distance to the current dojo, located in Solana Beach, is a trek for most everyone. Until one is found we are meeting at my home on Sundays ....

Thanks to all who attended the 7-hour 'mini-gasshuku' yesterday. The dojo will be hosting another event in September.
June 26th is the date for the next 'mini gasshuku' in San Diego. Starts at 10:15m and ends around 5:30pm. All Suio practitioners are welcome, but we have limited space so please contact me first before heading to Solana Beach. Wakizashi and kogusoku are on the menu.
