Happy Pi Day! Laser cut pie tops! two variations being shown here. The flower of life pattern was cut out in one big piece, and the leaf pattern is a series of identical cuts, laid out to make a pattern.

Leather is perhaps the least forgiving material to use in a laser. Its also perhaps the most gratifying when done right. Here's a shot of two pieces of very high quality veg tan leather being prepped for cutting. Veg tan is interesting because its as close to 'blank canvas' as it gets with leather. The reason one of these is darker than the other is that we have wetted it down for better cutting results.
