When life gets hazy, flip your perspective! 🙃 To be honest, I haven't felt connected to my business Bliss Fit for well over a year now and have felt a bit lost and stuck. However, through my work in the online yoga mentorship program with @angestopperan and the @coloradoschoolofyoga and listening to a gazillion branding and business podcasts and webinars, I have clarified my values, strengths, and passions and am in the process of building a brand new company! I finally feel the PASSION again and am so excited to reveal all this cool new stuff to you guys! But I won't... yet. If owning Bliss Fit taught me anything, it's to get all the backend work done before you launch or you'll constantly feel like a puppy chasing its tale. 🐶☺️

Back in action! 💪🏽 I'll admit it... I was SUPER LAZY during the month of August. My workouts were half-assed and infrequent and I did absolutely nothing to build my business. 😳 And then, as if by magic, I awoke this week ready to get back at it!
Today I spent 90minutes running around the tennis court pretending to be at the US Open. Only half of the "optic yellows" made it over the net but at least it was it was great cardio! 😆🎾

The path to self improvement is a never ending journey and I want to share with you what I've found that actually works.✨ Here's what I've got this week: Every single day find a way to exercise your body, your mind, and your creativity. 🌟Here is what I've done today: 1) Body - 30 min on stair stepper followed by 30 min of lifting. 2) Mind - listened to an audio book on the drive to work and a podcast during my workout. 3) Tonight I intend on working on my succulent garden. 💫 What about you? Piriformis syndrome is often mistaken for Sciatica.
"One end of the piriformis is attached to the front part of the sacrum, the triangular bone at the base of the spine. It’s the only pelvic muscle that attaches to the front of the sacrum, providing balance between the pelvis and legs."
Just like psoas and sternocleidomastoid, piriformis stabilizes anterior to posterior.

My life goal is to create a well-balanced, healthy, happy, holistic lifestyle and I've been testing out theories in how to create that. I've realized that the days that I felt like I was maximizing my potential and living life to the fullest were when I engaged in 3 separate activities in a single day. One of them is always "go to work" which means I must MAKE time for two other things! So for today here are my 3 big things: 1) went to work 2) drove to @trilogysanctuary and took an aerial yoga class during my lunch break! 3) hit up the farmers market in the evening with my man. Have you tried the "3 things a day strategy"? You should try it and let me know how it goes!

Today I ran... for the first time in 5 months... and dang it was hard to get motivated! Running has never been my favorite thing and since I moved to Colorado I've come up with all sorts of excuses to not do it: 1st it was altitude sickness, then it was my sprained ankle, and then it was ego because I KNEW how weak my legs had become. 🤔
But as I was demonstrating movements in TRX class this week I started to feel like one of those bodybuilders with a strong upper body and wimpy little legs and I realized that I need to up my game with lower body exercises.
So today I swallowed my pride and went for a 20 minute interval run and I was slow and uncoordinated and didn't go very far, but I'm so glad I did it! Next time will be easier and in no time I'll be back doing hill sprints like it ain't no thang! 🏃🏻😉
So if this experience feels familiar then check your ego and remember that the hardest part of a workout is showing up. 💪🏽
