As you know, I’m an avid golfer and believe that golf is a great way to teach kids values and life skills. I’ve teamed up with First Tee West Michigan, who provides students of all socioeconomic backgrounds a chance to learn values and life skills through the game of golf.

First Tee West Michigan is serving more students this summer than ever before – more than 2300 just this year alone. They’ll provide more than 20,000 hours of character education, life skills, values, and healthy habits instruction – all through the game of golf – with more than 1000 students participating completely free due to their families’ income. More families than ever are in need of the scholarship rate due to their finances. While the number of students First Tee serves keeps going up, only 10% of their needed revenue comes program fees. First Tee is relying on this marathon fundraiser for nearly 50% of their annual budget – it needs our support!
My goal on June 21st is to play 100 holes of golf at Water's Edge GC in one day. I am asking you to consider a “per hole” pledge or flat donation to support my effort to raise funds for kids on scholarship at First Tee West Michigan. You can also give incentives for Birdies, Pars, or other random things ($$ for playing more than a certain number of holes, for example).
I will be pledging $200 towards my own efforts. I have a goal of raising $2000 for The First Tee’s program through my play that day! A $250 gift covers the cost of a young person on scholarship to participate in a six-class session!

I’m so grateful that my father introduced me to the game of Golf at the age of three years old. The game has taught me so much about life and has allowed me the opportunity to meet so many people and also give back by doing what I love, teaching Golf, and showing people the easiest way to make solid contact and have the ball go where they want to go🎯
