This course will cover an in-depth explanation of Combat Shooting vs. Target Shooting. Combat Pistol 1.5 is the first step towards developing HARD SKILLS with a pistol that can be applied in any environment. Our key focus is to give the student the skill set and ability to confidently defend one’s own life or the safety of others without hesitation or doubt. In this course we will cover:
• Weapons safety
• Holstering and drawing
• Speed reloads
• Trigger control and follow-through
• Recoil management
• Acquiring the target under stress
• Accurately engaging the target under stress
• Natural point of aim / Point Shooting
• Working space and ready position
• Standard shooting positions
• Clearing malfunctions
• Introduction to basic movement
Required Gear: Pistol, 3 - 4 magazines minimum, hearing and eye protection, long pants, closed toed shoes (no sandals), folding chair and weather appropriate clothing, hat and sun block.
Bring a lunch, some snacks, and something to drink, bottled water will be provided.

This pistol course is an intermediate level course. Our instructors will push you well past your comfort zone. Our instructors are passionate when it comes to this level of training and we want you to succeed, we want you to be the best possible shooter!
This course will take you to the next level. In this course we will cover:
• Shooting from retention
• Rapid weapon deployment
• Recoil management
• Shooting from alternative positions
• Shooting from behind cover
• Dynamic movement
• Shooting on the move
• Multiple threat engagements
• Combat stress and the OODA Loop
• Managing your environment your gear and the current situation
• Scenario based Stress Drills
REQUIRED GEAR:
Pistol, Holster, Belt, 3 - 4 magazines (minimum), magazine pouches,
hearing and eye protection, long pants, closed toed shoes (no sandals), Lunch and Snacks, folding chair and weather appropriate clothing, hat and sun block.
Bottled water will be provided.

Last month’s 1.5 pistol course… The 1.5 pistol course is one of our most popular and for good reasons. We teach more in one day than most do in three. Probably not the best business plan but we focus on shooting and teaching you how to shoot. Not profits and bottom lines… the next one is January 24th
