Brandon Aubrey and the Dallas Cowboys reached agreement today on a deal that will make Aubrey the highest paid kicker in NFL history. The four-year extension makes Aubrey the first kicker to earn $7 million per year and receive $20 million guaranteed, per Todd France and AJ Stevens of .

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to place their franchise tag on Pro Bowl wide receiver George Pickens, league sources told ESPN.

The projected cost of the one-year, fully guaranteed franchise tag for Pickens will be roughly $28 million.

The Dallas Cowboys now officially have the #12 and #20 picks in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

In addition to being Forbes' most valuable franchise in sports, the Dallas Cowboys are now also atop the list of Forbes' most *profitable* franchises in sports.

The Cowboys made $629 million in operating income in 2025, according to Forbes tabulation. That's $220 million MORE than than the team that finished in 2nd place on the list, the Golden State Warriors, who made $409 million.
