I swear, I still haven't gotten over how much Bran Stark changed.

When we first met Bran, he was just a curious little boy climbing the walls of Winterfell, dreaming about becoming a knight like the heroes in the stories.

Then Jaime Lannister pushed him from that tower… and everything changed.

Bran survived, but he lost the ability to walk. From there, his journey took him farther north than almost anyone could have imagined. He became a warg, discovered the power of greensight, traveled beyond the Wall, and eventually became the Three-Eyed Raven.

And that's when the transformation became truly strange.

The innocent kid we knew in Season 1 was almost completely gone. Bran could see into the past, witness events happening across the world, and carry knowledge that no ordinary person could possess. But the price seemed to be his connection to the person he used to be.

By the time he returned to Winterfell, he barely reacted to things that would have once broken his heart.

He didn't just grow up. He became something else.

And somehow, that little boy who once dreamed of becoming a knight ended the story as Bran the Broken, King of the Six Kingdoms.

Honestly, looking at Season 1 Bran next to Season 7 Bran is one of the craziest transformations in Game of Thrones.

And honestly, this is where Game of Thrones was so good.

Every house had its own identity. The Starks had honor and duty. The Lannisters had wealth, power, and political influence. The Targaryens had their dragons and an almost frightening sense of destiny. The Martells valued independence, while the Greyjoys lived by the sea and the sword.

But every house also came with a price.

Choose Stark, and you inherit Winterfell—and all the enemies that come with it.
Choose Lannister, and you get wealth and power—but everyone wants what you have.
Choose Targaryen, and you get dragons… along with a family history that makes the word “complicated” feel completely inadequate. 😂

So forget who you think would win the Iron Throne.

Game of Thrones gave us plenty of relationships… but these four were unforgettable for completely different reasons. ❤️‍🔥

🐉 Daenerys & Khal Drogo — Their relationship began with circumstances neither of them chose, but eventually became something much deeper. Drogo became Daenerys's first great love, and losing him changed her forever.

🖤 Jon Snow & Ygritte — Two people who were supposed to be enemies somehow found love beyond the Wall. Their relationship was passionate, complicated, and doomed from the beginning. And that final moment between them still hurts. 😭

⚔️ Daenerys & Jorah — Maybe one of the most complicated relationships in the entire story. Jorah loved Daenerys deeply, even when he knew she could never love him in the same way. Yet he stayed by her side through almost everything.

📚 Sam & Gilly — Probably the sweetest relationship on this list. In a world full of betrayal, murder and political games, these two simply found comfort in each other and kept choosing each other.

Four relationships. Four completely different kinds of love.

Some were passionate.
Some were tragic.
Some were one-sided.
And one was actually… surprisingly healthy for Westeros. 😂

Daenerys really named her three dragons after the three men who left the biggest marks on her life… and when you think about who those men were, the names become a lot more complicated.

🐉 Drogon was named after Khal Drogo, the husband she was forced to marry. Their relationship began with fear, violence and a complete lack of choice, yet over time Drogo became someone Daenerys genuinely loved and mourned deeply.

🐉 Viserion was named after Viserys, the brother who spent years treating Daenerys terribly and saw her marriage to Drogo as nothing more than a way to get his crown back. He threatened her, humiliated her, and eventually lost control completely. Yet Daenerys still chose to keep his memory alive through one of her dragons.

🐉 Rhaegal was named after Rhaegar Targaryen, the brother Daenerys never actually met. Rhaegar died before she was born, but his death helped set the events of Robert's Rebellion in motion and ultimately contributed to the fall of their family's dynasty.

And that's what makes the names so fascinating.

None of these men were simple heroes in Daenerys's story. One was a complicated love, one was an abusive brother, and one was a legendary brother she never knew.

Yet she gave their names to the three creatures that became the symbols of her power.

Maybe it wasn't about forgiving them.

Maybe it was about remembering them.

And the irony gets even darker when you remember how each dragon's story eventually ended.

Which dragon got the most unfortunate namesake — Drogon, Viserion, or Rhaegal? 👀🐉

The Tyrells spent generations building one of the most powerful houses in Westeros… only to lose everything in the blink of an eye. 🌹

Margaery knew how to play the political game. Olenna was one of the sharpest minds in Westeros. Together, they helped turn House Tyrell into a force that even the Lannisters couldn't afford to ignore.

They married into the royal family, controlled enormous wealth and armies, and used politics just as effectively as swords. Their influence helped decide who sat on the Iron Throne more than once.

And then Cersei changed everything.

Margaery, Loras and Mace were killed in the destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor. Olenna escaped, but Highgarden was eventually taken by Jaime, and the Tyrell line ended with her death.

And somehow, the final insult came afterward.

Highgarden — the ancient seat of House Tyrell — ended up in the hands of Bronn, a sellsword who had spent most of the series fighting for whoever paid him best.

After everything Olenna and Margaery had schemed, sacrificed and fought for…

House Tyrell was simply gone. 🌹💔

Tell me that wasn't one of the most disrespectful endings in the entire series.

The transformation of Tyrion Lannister.

When we first met Tyrion, he was the witty, sarcastic, wine-loving Lannister who seemed to treat everything like a joke. He drank, he laughed, he knew how to survive the politics of Westeros, and he rarely let anyone see how much the world had hurt him.

But by the end of the series, that man was almost unrecognizable.

Tyrion had survived imprisonment, betrayal, war, a trial for a crime he didn't commit, the death of the woman he loved, and the murder of his own father. He crossed the Narrow Sea, became one of Daenerys Targaryen's most trusted advisers, and eventually found himself serving yet another ruler as Hand of the King.

Even his appearance tells part of the story. The carefree look is gone. The face is harder. The scar remains. The jokes aren't quite as effortless anymore.

Tyrion didn't just grow older. Westeros changed him.

And somehow, after everything he went through, he was still standing at the end.

Four different faces, four very different personalities, and each one left a completely different mark on Game of Thrones.

Sansa started as a sheltered girl who believed in stories and princes, but Westeros forced her to grow up faster than anyone should have to. Daenerys went from an exiled princess to one of the most powerful people in the world, carrying an entire dynasty on her shoulders. And Lyanna Mormont? She was proof that you didn't need a crown or a huge army to command respect.

Some characters you love. Some you understand. And some just drive you crazy every time they appear on screen. 😂

The White Walker had every reason to kill Sam.

Sam was terrified. He was alone, defenseless, and hiding behind a rock while an entire army of the dead marched past him. One of the White Walkers even seemed to notice him… but instead of killing him, it simply continued on.

And that tiny moment has always felt strangely important.

Because Sam wasn’t just another survivor. He would eventually help uncover Jon Snow’s true parentage, become one of the few people who truly understood the history of the White Walkers, and live long enough to help preserve the story of what happened beyond the Wall.

So why did the White Walker leave him alive?

Maybe it genuinely never saw him. Maybe Sam was simply not considered a threat. Or maybe there was something more to it that the show never explained.

What makes the scene even stranger is that the very same White Walker later comes back for Gilly and her baby — only for Sam to kill it with dragonglass.

Was Sam spared because he was unimportant at that moment… or was this one of those mysteries Game of Thrones introduced and never fully answered?
