California State Games/Bowling

It is sad that the CA State Games took out bowling from its event. Caused by domino effect... the weak participation by adults due to no money involved because this is Olympic style bowling. Winners get medals- gold, silver bronze. The youth participation was weak because it was in conflict with Youth USBC’s schedule. The weak involvement by the admin, including me! 😩 Admin are all volunteers who double as youth coaches.

For this to come back to life we need someone to step up. CA is a huge state to cover. I’m no martyr, I can’t do it alone. 😀 I’m here.

The CA State Games has removed bowling as part of its event. To bring it back we need you to dedicate time and grow it. We need people from different a read in CA to get youth and adults involved. Share post. Thanks

The CA State Games has elimintated Bowling as part of the event. I was informed it was due to lack of participation and a consistent management/manager. They will consider to include bowling again if we recommit. Are there any interests?

We are planning a Northern California regional tournament.

Our U12 winners won the USBC USA Bowling West Regional. The U15 Team also won.

We will be back in the summer for the upcoming games.
