We have our third Happy Hour on Sept. 17th at Quantum Brewing; a Cal dinner event on Sept. 9th in Little Italy; and we kick off our football watching party season on Sat. Hello All Fellow SD Bears! A couple of events in the summer you shouldn't miss: July 18th is the Summer Welcome Party for incoming students, alumni, and FOC (Friends of Cal). Attention all hockey fans! We are having our annual Cal/Stanford/Harvard SD Gulls hockey event on Jan. 31, 2026. The puck drops at 6 pm and we have the private Stella Artois lounge area for our group with music and our own bar so come early. January 31, 2026 - San Diego Gulls Ivy+ Hockey Game Join HCSD at Pechanga Arena for a San Diego Gulls vs. Ontario Reign hockey game!

The 2025 Holiday Party is Sat., Dec. 20th at the home of Celia Garcia, club president, from 5 pm to 10 pm. Address is: 1881 Valencia Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008. All current students, their parents, and alumni (even non SD ones, if you are visiting from out of town) are all welcome. RSVP to: [email protected] OR register at: https://forms.gle/JgjDLxWimUmgMG448. Good food and beverage will be provided. This is an indoor/outdoor event so please dress warmly. For some reason, if you can't register, just show up. See you there and Go Bears! A final note about the bowl game: there will be NO watch party for it.

Hey all of you San Diego Cal Alumni football fans: Our last regular season game is on Sat., Nov. 29, kickoff time is 5 pm. We will be at our usual place, Chief's Burgers and Brew, at 124 Lomas Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach. Come join us! No need to RSVP; just show up. All Cal alumni are welcome. If you have come from out of town and want to get away from the post Thanksgiving crowd and annoying relatives. . .come join us!

There is NO game this Sat., Nov. 15 as we have a bye week after our spectacular win over #14 Louisville last week! Upcoming events: Big Game viewing Party at Chief's Burgers and Brew on Sat. Nov. 22nd (joint event with Stanford); Holiday Party on Dec. 20th, details to follow; annual Gulls hockey event with Harvard and Stanford on Jan. 31st (Star Wars night!). Stay tuned and Go Bears!!

Hi all Cal football fans! For once, we have a normal college football kickoff time on Sat., Nov 1st. : 12:45 pm. We will be at our usual venue, Chief's Burgers and Brew, 124 Lomas Santa Fe Drive in Solana Beach. For those who want it, there is a train station directly across the street for convenience. It has been a lot of fun meeting new alumni every week (besides us die hard fans) so come and join us. No RSVP needed. We gather at the large table in the back left corner. Go Bears!

Another Friday Funday of Cal Football! Kickoff time is 4:30 pm on Friday, September 24th at our usual venue, Chief's Burgers and Brew. All FOC (fans of Cal), alums, etc. are all welcome. No need to RSVP; just show up. We will be at the back large table under the San Diego Cal Alumni banner. Go Bears!
