When you run an indie brand, an abandoned cart is not a data point, it is a person who almost said yes.

This is what family-owned actually looks like behind the scenes. The person who formulated it is the same person taping the box shut.

Your cart is still waiting at bodyography.com. πŸ˜‰

Episode five of Lori Does Your Makeup, where our founder does a full face on a real member of our team and teaches you what she is thinking the whole way through.

Today: lips.

The finishing step everyone rushes, when a few extra seconds are what make it last. Lori's approach comes down to one idea, which is that lasting color starts with the liner, not the lipstick. She lines and then fills the entire lip with pencil first, so the color has something to grip, and only then adds lipstick or gloss on top. The liner is not there to sit at the edge, it is the foundation the whole lip is built on. Fill first, layer second, and your lip holds through coffee, lunch, and everything after.

That is the whole series in one line: not more makeup, better makeup.

Follow along as Lori builds the look, and take a little something with you each time. 🀎

The lipstick was good. But Lori kept coming back to two things she wanted it to do better: slip and blur.

Welcome to From the Lab. πŸ§ͺ

Slip, so the color glides on smooth and moves with your lips instead of dragging or sitting dry on top. And blur, so the edges soften into a lived-in, second-skin finish rather than a hard line of color. The goal is a lip that looks effortless, like you have been wearing it for hours in the best way.

Same color payoff you trust. A feel that finally matches it.

Episode four of Lori Does Your Makeup, where our founder does a full face on a real member of our team and teaches you what she is thinking the whole way through.

Today: eyes.

The part people treat as the hard, technical step, when it is really about one thing. Lori's approach comes down to the idea that a beautiful eye is built in layers, not painted in one. She starts with the lightest wash across the lid and deepens color slowly, blending between every step so no edge ever announces itself. The magic is not in the darkest shade, it is in the transition, the place where one color melts into the next with no line to point to. Build slow, blend more than you think you need to, and even a simple eye looks finished.

That is the whole series in one line: not more makeup, better makeup.

Most glitter sits on top of the skin in flat, scratchy flecks you can feel. Glitter Pigments do the opposite.

The payoff comes from finely milled pigment, so the shimmer melts into the skin instead of sitting on it, catching light without the plastic and without the grit. That is lightweight, high-impact color you can press on with a fingertip and actually wear, not just photograph.

Which shade is stopping your scroll? Tell us below. ✨

The best brow does not look like a brow product. It looks like more of your own hair.

That is exactly what Epic Brow was built to do. The fine tip lays down hair-like strokes that follow the brows you already have, adding definition only where it is missing instead of drawing a shape on top. The flexible hold keeps everything in place without the stiff, painted-on feel that gives most brow products away. You are enhancing what is there, not covering it.

Definition that looks like you on your best-lit day. All definition, zero weight. 🀎

The secret to a lip that lasts is not the lipstick. It is what goes underneath it.

The Line + Shine Duo is built on that idea. The lip pencil is not just an outline, it fills the whole lip and gives the color a base to hold onto. Then the Glossy Lip Oil layers on top for cushiony, non-sticky shine that hydrates while it wears. Define and gloss in one move, a pro-level lip in under thirty seconds, no fighting two products that were never meant to work apart.

Define, gloss, done, and $25 right now. Pick your shade and go. πŸ’‹

Episode three of Lori Does Your Makeup, where our founder does a full face on a real member of our team and teaches you what she is thinking the whole way through.

Today: brows.

The feature that frames everything else, and the one people most often overwork. Lori's approach comes down to one idea, which is that brows are not about filling them in, they are about enhancing what is already there. Instead of drawing a shape on top, she follows the brows you already have with light, hair-like strokes, adding definition only where it is missing. The goal is not fuller. It is more believable, brows that look like yours on your best-lit day rather than brows that look like product.

That is the whole series in one line: not more makeup, better makeup.

A beauty brand telling you to buy less. We know how that sounds.

Here is the truth most launches will not say out loud: a lot of β€œnew” trends are just a technique you already have the products for.

Before you add another blush to the pile, shop your own bag. Press what you own on a little differently, layer it, damp-finger it, and you will get most of the way to the look the algorithm is selling you.

Then, when something genuinely does what nothing else in your kit can, buy that. On purpose. That is the whole idea behind how we formulate, too. If a product is not adding something new, it does not belong in your routine or ours.

What is one product you keep repurchasing because nothing else compares? 🀍
