Think Tom's new favorite exercise are these kettlebell snatches and tire flips! We are always pretty good about working on strength training, but thought I'd add in more dynamic and explosive movements to his workouts this week.
Why???
Motor neuron and fast-twitch muscle recruitment, that's why!! It is imperative to be able to activate the fibers quickly in order to develop true functional strength, not just to lift weights, but for everything we do on a day-to-day basis! You never know when you're going to have to hoist some heavy object up that requires a lil something extra! Great job Tom!

1.unilateral suitcase deadlift to row:
-great total body movement that encompasses strength and stability training. She is keying in on bracing her core throughout the entire movement and not letting her back compensate for the uneven weight.
2. Supine overhead pull-apart deadbugs:
- excellent exercise that focuses on keeping the lower back in constant contact with the floor, all the while isometrically strengthening the shoulder complex.
3. Elevated barbell push-ups:
Proud to say this is the lowest angle she has been able to do for multiple reps. This is a great modification to the standard push-up. She is focusing on keeping her shoulder blades retracted so there is no added emphasis on the shoulders helping out, it's all chest and triceps!
Don't let the fear of the unknown hold you back from being able to do what you want to do!

My client Rowell Hustling Hard! Using a band here is a great way to warm up the lower body for intense resistance training and interval training.
Other than a warm up, these movements put some pretty good 🔥🔥 on the glutes and increases the release of growth hormone in your body as well! So why not bust out a set of these until you feel the fire, then get after a chest, back, or shoulder exercise? It gives you that extra boost!!
