Spring is stirring and I'm loving it! I can't wait to get the trails! I snagged a shot of this scraggly path in Cascade River State Park. Is anyone up hiking the S*T right now?? How are the conditions?

Spring comes slowly and beautifully up on the North Shore. Such an awesome lake keeps the temps cool even when the sun begins to wake up all the vegetation. I caught these people reading peacefully with the best view, and thought I would sneak a capture of them without disturbing.

Lost amongst the redwoods- hiking through Muir Woods there was a particular intersection of trails just off the scope of the simple maps provided at the park entrance. Every group that came by had to decide which way to go. From up above it almost looked like spelunkers in a cavern because of how massive the trees were, I couldn't even get them in frame. What a surreal and gorgeous place.

While visiting Ålesund we drove out to Godøy. It was so eerie driving through tunnels under the ocean! The scenery was definitely worth it, everything was gorgeous

Walking dirt roads looking for a nice beach on a sunny day. Perfection everywhere. I love everything about California when I can find a secluded spot away from the hustle bustle of the largest populations in the country. What's your favorite secluded get away?

On our way back into San Francisco we stopped in Golden Gate National Recreation Area, offering views of the mighty Golden Gate Bridge. I expected some stellar views, but I wasn't expecting to find refuge from the overwhelming bay area urban life. Passing amongst centuries-old trees, and listening to the blue waters of the Pacific, nothing quite compared to the sunset over the hills. This may prove to be one of my top ten favorite photos I've ever snapped, and it was nothing but perfect timing and wonderful scenery. Thanks for driving you're a better captain than I am a copilot!

When you get the opportunity to drive the California coastline in a mystery machine with always say yes. We stopped here on out way to the redwoods to take in the view, and because a motorcyclist really really wanted a picture with the van.

Visiting friends is even better when they have a brand new beautiful puppy! I think he's a chihuahua and dachshund, but if anyone has any ideas let me know! He's a boopis!
